American Kestrel Falco sparverius
The American kestrel is the smallest of the falcon in North America. Often seen kiting above a field looking for small bugs or field mice, the kestrel is also known to catch small birds. The kestrel exhibits sexual dimorphism in color, with the female having a beautiful brown and black back, and the male having a brown back with blue wings.
